Build your football management profile

This course is designed for people who want practical knowledge of professional football management. The programme combines online lectures, football case work and guest sessions with people who have worked in clubs, leagues, federations and international football projects.

Participants will study the main areas of a club: governance, sport, business, community, operations and strategy. The final project is based on a football club development plan.

Programme format

The course is delivered online in English. 160 didactic hours


80 online evening sessions
2 didactic hours per session
Tuesday and Thursday evenings
Final project based on football club development
ASBIRO academic framework and online learning environment One didactic hour equals 45 minutes. Each evening session lasts 90 minutes.

Eric Abidal

Former France international and FC Barcelona player, with experience at the top level of European football and in football management. He later worked as Director of Football at FC Barcelona and Al Wasl.

Dominique Blanc

Swiss football executive, businessman, former player and former referee. He served as President of the Swiss Football Association from 2019 to 2025, after a career in business and football administration.

Charlotte Kenny

Sports business and commercial specialist with senior experience at Arsenal FC and BLAST. She has worked across business development, fan engagement, partnerships and revenue growth, and has delivered presentations to executive audiences including London Business School.
